Mary L Brunton, 87, of Linden, IN, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2011 at Regency Place.
She was born February 8, 1924, in Tippecanoe County to the late Edward and Fannie Payne Ritchie.
Mary graduated from Shadeland High School and on April 2, 1943 she married Morris Brunton in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. Mrs. Brunton was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children M. Lee Brunton wife Jolinda, Linden, IN, Kathryn Chase husband Jack of West Point, IN and Peggy Lumley husband George, Lafayette
Also survivng are six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. with Scripture service at 6:00PM. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Fr. Dominic Young officiating. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Those wishing may contribute to the American Heart Association.
