Jay and Karen, I am very sorry for your loss. Recently, I went to see her and later I phoned her. I wanted to record what she remembered about the Shoup family. Generally, you think you will never forget this or that…but you do. We reminisced when she lived on the farm near Shadeland. I think my brother Denny and I can still smell Aunt Stella’s yeast dinner roll baking as we approached their long driveway. I remember their National Home in Lafayette. Being from the country, I thought living in that neighborhood would be the best. When she was at Purdue, I stayed with her in her dorm room on a few occasions. You will be n my thoughts and prayers.

Mary Agnes and I were childhood friends from Hope Chapel. We had reconnected recently through Facebook and visited and laughed about the fun times we had. Rest In Peace, my friend.
