I apologize that I couldn’t make it. But each of you are in my family’s prayers. Aunt Mart was always the sweetest and the most genuine lady anyone could have ever met. Even though she knew us kids were up to no good. She would just send Aunt Joy after us. She will always be a cherished memory that I hold close. We love yall and we will keep you in our prayers as we navigate this hard time.

Martha was my secretary for many years as I served as Music Pastor. We were a great team. She was a great at whatever she did. Most of all I cherished her loyalty and friendship. Emily and I have many memories of meals at the Morehouse home and NEVER wanted to turn down an invitation. She and Jim were a great couple and served as great examples of how to raise kids in a loving and biblical home. Both are truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Just know that we WILL see both of them again some day.in the presence of our loving Jesus. God Bless. - Bill & Emily Moore

Martha was my other mother, in fact I called her TOM and she called me TOD. Thanks to getting to be around her so much for the last 25 years or so and being an "adopted" part of the family, I picked up many good cooks hacks and tricks and loved it when I made something and she liked it. The last thing I made for her was some chicken noodle soup and I told her I channeled my inner Martha Morehouse and just created my own recipe, she said good girl. I also picked up some great phrases from Martha over the years like "just washed my tongue and can't do a thing with it" or "my mouth is so dry I could spit cotton". She was a loving, caring, fun, lady. Woman of God and prayer warrior for sure and she is already missed greatly.

We have many memories of Aunt Mart. Many trips to the farm house for family get togethers and celebration of Grandpa's birthday. Aunt Mart was a fantastic cook and I am so grateful that I have one of her cookbooks. I still continue the family tradition of candy on the buffet. Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Martha and I were first cousins. She was closest to me in age. After moving to NE it made it more difficult to visit in person. I came to see her the October she was 80. I have many fond memories of that visit. My sympathy to all of you.
