Marilyn Sue (Williamson) Lumley, 89, of Tippecanoe County, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born November 2, 1936, in Brookston, IN, to the late Milford and Dorothy (Horn) Williamson.
Marilyn graduated from Brookston High School with the class of 1955.
On July 1, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart Arnold Lee “Arnie” Lumley in Brookston. He preceded her in death in August of this year.
Marilyn was a homemaker and helped on the family farm.
Marilyn enjoyed camping and the camping club, she was a Cub Scout Den leader and a Girl Scout leader, and also enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time in Florida.
Surviving is a daughter, Debra (Ron) Bearden of Lafayette, three sons, Charles (Diana Batz) Lumley of Avon, Brad (Diane) Lumley of Lafayette and Jeff (Karen Stewart) Lumley of Brookston. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson Jason Lumley, a son in law Michael Landis and two brothers, Milford “Bud” Williamson and Dennis Williamson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.
