DELPHI ? Martha Jane Patton, 83, of Delphi, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi.
Born Nov. 23, 1926, in Nevada, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Glen W. and Ruby Belle Bryan Turnipseed. She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School.
She married Joseph R. Patton and he died in 1963.
Mrs. Patton worked various jobs, including real estate for William H. Long and for the City of Lafayette under former Mayor James Riehle.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. Patton Sr. (wife: Melinda) of Monticello; and a daughter, Paula Riley (husband: George) of Pensacola, Fla.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Robert Patton Jr. (wife: Merita) of Seattle, Suzanna Bobo (husband: Tim) of Lawrenceburg, Jennifer Beeler of Lafayette and Kati Riley of Pensacola; and 10 great-grandchildren.
