Lynne Rae Booher, 72, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Franciscan Health St. Elizabeth East. She was born March 24, 1948, in Mace, IN, to the late Arthur and LaFern Truax Williams.
Lynne was the phone receptionist for Lafayette Venetian Blind for many years. Lynne was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. The loyalty she had for those close to her was unlimited and unwavering. She believed in helping others and did so as often as she could never asking for anything in return. Occasionally her words were a little colorful, but they were always honest and never out of anger. We will miss the fun conversations we could have had, but never forget the ones we did. It was an honor to have you in our lives, through the good and not so good, you were the strength that helped so many people, even if you never knew it. Even though we are saddened knowing you have left us we find happiness knowing you are finally at peace, and after all you have endured as well as what you did for those around you, you deserve nothing less. You’re gone but will never truly leave us. You’re loved forever and always.
Surviving are son, Clinton M. Dewey of Crawfordsville, IN, grandson, Levi Dewey, granddaughter, Brianna Dewey, great grandchild, Ayden McCarley, greatgrandchild, Beau McCarley, great grandchild, Marley Dewey.
