Lynn Kathryn Palacio, 60, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 16, 1954, in Gary, to Marlene (Hollingsworth) Johnston of Hobart and the late Henry S. Kayner. Lynn received her degree from Purdue University in Technical Graphics, and had been a rural carrier for the US Postal service for the past 15 years – a job she loved dearly She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. Surviving along with her mother are two daughters, Cristina Lynn Page (Justin) of Bolingbrook, IL and Tiffany Sunshine Palacio of Lafayette; a brother, Charles Kayner (Brenda) of Bullfrog, UT; three sisters, Donna Carney Muha of Hobart, Gina Cooper of Gary and Carla Johnston of Bloomington. Also surviving are 4 grandsons, Riley Wohlwend (10) Gabriel Harvey (4) Camden Page (6) and Bennett Page (4). Lynn is preceded in death by her step father, Charles Johnston and a brother Timothy Johnston. Visitation will be from 5:00 until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
