Luke J. Patula, 36, of Boswell, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Franciscan Health, Lafayette.

He was born December 30, 1985, in Oak Lawn, IL to Nicholas and Frances (Jurich) Patula.

Luke worked as an Audiovisual and Editing Technician for Remnant of God Ministries.

Luke had a passion for video editing. He enjoyed relaxing with his family and cherished the time spent with them.

Along with his parents, Nicholas and Frances, he is survived by his 7 siblings, Jillian (Adam) Shields of Cissna Park, IL, Theresa (Nils) Emmanuelson of AZ, Amanda (Bartosh) Wojtaszyk of Fountain Hills, AZ, Nicholas (Sherri) Patula III of Gilbert, AZ, Joshua (Janine) Patula of Erie PA, Courtney (Shawn) Manesh of West Lafayette, and Lee Josephine Patula of Lafayette; 5 nephews; 6 nieces; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES WILL BE HELD, Monday, February 14, 2022, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, with Pastor Nicholas Patula officiating.

Our sincerest condolences to Nic, Fran and the family. Such a sadness that only the love of Jesus can but soothe in the hearts of those grieving a loss of one so loved. There will be a great reunion one day soon when the Lord returns. Hold onto that with the memories.

Sweet Luke! He came into this dark world to light up and inspire the secret chambers of other's hearts. He's done that for me and no doubt many others! May your family feel that Peace That Passes Understanding and deeply know that God is in control. Bless you all.

Luke often contacted me when I needed someone the MOST. My brother I am so terribly sorry. I miss you and love you my friend. Important life lessons learned from this man to say the very least. Your legacy will live on forever. My guardian angel now St. Luke. In heaven now right where he wanted to be...R.I.P. big bro ???

My heart aches for Courtney, Shawn, and the sweet parents of Luke. And for little Garen, Loki and Coralee. Jesus, please bless and guard their tiny hearts now. Luke was the sweetest, kindest man I knew. He loved his nephews and niece intensely. He got a karaoke machine for Garin and Loki, and they both loved it so much! Many times he helped watch the kids when I was visiting them. And Luke always sat at the kitchen table eating the food he just bought! You are missed dearly
