Lois J. Zellers, 82, of Kingman, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Indiana University Arnett Health. She was born November 10, 1931, in Lafayette, IN, to Floyd and Mary Rothenberger Ellis. Lois attended Lafayette Jefferson High School and on May 9, 1952 she married Oran Collins and he preceded her in death in May of 1960. She later married Frederick Zellers on June 28, 1975 in West Lafayette and he preceded her in death. Lois worked at Purdue University for 19 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christ Union and Paternal Royal Neighbors. Survivng is her daughter Cathy J Collins of Blackwater, VA, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild and a close dear loving friend Harold Shaffer. Lois was preceded in death by daughter Deborah L. Collins Pearson. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West. Funeral Service 2:30 PM Friday at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, Pastor Joseph Park Jr officiating. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
