Linda Sue Foster, 72, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born November 2, 1951, in Greencastle to the late Maurice Eugene and Peggy Jo (Thompson) Bombei. She was a 1969 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School in Frankfort and retired from Fairfield Manufacturing.  She shared her life and heart with her partner, Robert Gregg Kerlin.

Linda was a member of UAW 2317 Women’s Committee and enjoyed creative artistry, decorating, entertaining and stirrin’ it up with the Prairie Girls. She also enjoyed singing Motown and dominating on Jeopardy.

Along with her partner Robert Kerlin, she is survived by her son Todd (Tara) North of Bristow, VA; 2 sisters, Sandy (Steve) Miller of Frankfort and Debbie (Randy) Grogg of Fort Wayne; 2 grandchildren, Torei (Zach) Gregor and Trey North; and 1 great-grandchild, Avery Gregor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Peggy Jo Bombei.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of service at 4:00 pm, Thursday December 7, 2023, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, with Pastor Robby Bradford officiating.
