Linda Ranae deVos, 77, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at her residence.
She was born November 16, 1947, in Goshen, IN, to the late Floyd and Fredonna (Reed) Method.
Linda graduated from New Paris High School in 1965 and went on to earn her dental assistant degree.
Linda began her career as a dental assistant and office manager at a dental office, where she was known for her professionalism and care. She later became the fine jewelry manager at JCPenney, a role she embraced with elegance and dedication. After retiring from retail, Linda pursued a new path as a realtor with FC Tucker Real Estate, where she continued to serve others with warmth and integrity until her second retirement in 2025.
But above all, Linda’s most important and cherished role was being a mom and a grandma. She always put her family first, dedicating her life to loving, guiding, and supporting those she held dearest. Her presence was a source of strength and unconditional love, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Christine (Trent) Richter of Lafayette and Renee (Michael) Sanders of Monticello. A brother, Roger (Janine) Method of New Paris, and her Fiancé, Gary Canady of Kokomo. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Christopher (Katie) Winberg, Corbin Richter, Madison Richter, Jessica Sanders and Jason Sanders and six great grandchildren, Chloe, Carter, William, Presley, Dean and Finn.
Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Stoner.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47905
