Linda Newkirk, 77, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Lafayette, IN. She was born on December 8, 1948, to the late Robert and Patricia Higman.

She was a 1967 graduate of Wainwright High School. She worked at Neo vision for many years and previously worked with family at Higman Racing.

Linda was a member of the Lafayette Cinderella Doll Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her brother, Jeff Higman, and her daughters, Tina (Mike) Wolf and Sara (Jesse) Newkirk Simon.

Also surviving are her grandsons, Bryce & Devin Wolf, and Asa & Cyrus Simon. As well as her nephew Christopher Scholtz and family.
