Lillian C. May, 89, of Lafayette, died at 3:25 PM Saturday December 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 5, 1922, in Lafayette to the late George and Mary Meagher May. Lillian attended St. Boniface grade school and graduated from St. Francis High School. Miss May was a secretary at Lafayette Bank and Trust for 35 years and retired on June 30, 1984. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St. Boniface Alter Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her church family.
Surviving are sons Mani Phengrasmy wife Vone of West Lafayette, Manisoth Phengrasmy of Lafayette, grandchildren Peter and Andrew Phengrasmy and a sister Luella Thise of Lafayette.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. with Rosary at 5:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Fr. Timothy Alkire officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Those wishing may contribute to the St. Boniface Catholic Church.

I am so sorry to read about Lilly&s death, but I know that she is happier, being with her family in Heaven. You boys have made a life for them - you and your boys have given them a cause to live. Please know that you will all be in my prayers. With love to you all - Bev Kensinger
