Letitia “Tish” Ann (Roudebush) Segal Barrett, 71, of Reynolds, passed away at her residence on Friday, October 19, 2018.
She was born July 3, 1947 in Lafayette to the late Harley and Louise (Jones) Roudebush.
She graduated from Southwestern High School in 1965. Later she received her degree in accounting from Indiana Business College, where she was on the Dean’s list.
Her first marriage was to Edgar Segal who preceded her in death in 1974, she then married Dannie Barrett in 1976. They later divorced.
Letitia was “semi” retired from Segal’s Delta, the family business. She had also worked at the Yorkshire club; Barrett Tankcars, where she was co-owner; and H&R Block during tax seasons.
Throughout her life she participated in many activities. She liked bowling, dancing, crafting, shopping, attending festivals, auctions and family dinners. She collected Coca Cola memorabilia and Emmett Kelly clowns. She was also an avid reader. She was very proud of her grandchildren and really enjoyed spending time with them.
She has been a member of many organizations, including The Red Hat Society, Habitat for Humanity and Lions Club.
Surviving are five children, Letitia “Tish” Segal Gifford of Brookston, Andrew E. Segal (Jennifer) of Reynolds, Luther “Luke” Barrett of Sheridan, Amy Barrett Bartlett (Joe) of Lafayette and Timothy “TJ” Barrett (Megan) of Delphi; two sisters, Harlene McCollum (Dave) of Indianapolis, and Shari Fugate (Dave) of Lafayette; a brother, Larry Roudebush (Christina) of Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Diana Roudebush, Lafayette, Jeanette Segal, Reynolds; brother-in-law Dave Segal (Connie), Monon. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, Harley Ann Gifford, Arthur Zarse, Kody, Keisha and Savannah Segal, Dakota Bruhy (Aden), Hunter Baughman, Riley and Emmie Garling, Brady and Lilah Bartlett, Mason, Madelyn, Max and Molly Barrett; as well as five great grandchildren.
She leaves behind many other close friends and extended family. Two she spoke of often, and kept in contact with through the years are cousin, Becky (Richardson) Wagner and friend Lenore (Dawson) Ferguson.
Besides being preceded in death by her parents and first husband, was a brother, Ira “Butch” Roudebush and a brother-in-law Timothy “Froggie” Segal, Sr.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 also at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Ken Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
