Larry Joe Woods

September 23, 1943 - January 28, 2023

Larry Joe Woods, 79, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at his home.  He was born September 23, 1943, in Lafayette to the late Everett and Bertha (Railling) Woods.  Larry graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1961.   He worked at the Journal and Courier for over 25 years.  Larry enjoyed collecting antiques, auctions and flea markets.  Surviving are his children Dana (Norma Pearson) Woods, David and Darin Woods of all of Lafayette.  Larry was preceded in death by his granddaughter Ashley Brooke Woods.  No service is planned at this time.
