I only knew Lana at the dentist office, but she had been my dental hygienist at Dr. Preuss since I think 1990, so I&ve known her for 20 years. She was such a lovely woman. She would remember our conversations from one appointment to the next -- I was always amazed.

I was in the office Monday for my appointment when the front desk ladies told me about Lana -- I couldn&t believe it...I was all ready to hear about her summer so far.

I will miss my conversations with Lana. I hope the family knows how much her patients loved her.

Please accept my most heart felt condolences.

She will be dearly missed.

As a patient of Dr. Preuss, I knew Lana as the friendly and gentle hygienist who cleaned my teeth. I always enjoyed talking with her about family and other interests, though it was hard at times when she was flossing my teeth! I will miss her!

I am so sorry for your loss; Lana was my hygienist and was always professional with that wonderful gentle touch. We would talk about kids, strawberry picking and just other things. I will miss her when I see the dentist.

Lana was a very special woman. She cleaned my teeth for many years and she was the only person I wanted because she was so good. I enjoyed talking to her even though my mouth was full, so I could not talk very much. I know she loved her dad, husband, sons, and grandchildren very much. Their pictures were in the window in front of the dental chair and she changed them as the family grew. I know she was also very proud of the woodworking projects that were created by the men in her life. I will really miss her and getting my teeth cleaned will never be the same. You all have my deepest sympathy.

to Lana Gilbert&s family,
Lana was my dental hygienist when she worked for Dr. Michael in WL-a long time ago. She was my very favorite hygienist, EVER. I missed her very much when she left that practice. If I recall correctly she left when she had her first son. Every time I went back to the office (Dr. Michael and then Dr. Krueger) I always hoped she would be back working there. But, she had moved on. I was very sad to read of her death at such a young age. she certainly was my ideal dental hygienist. thank you, Lana! my best wishes to her family as you deal with her loss. ann h hunt
