LaDonna Ann (Smith) Musick, “Aunt LaDonna”, “Grandma”, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the age of 55.

She was born in Lafayette on October 16, 1967, the daughter of Bertha Louise (Dye) Smith Killian and Richard Dean Smith. She married her soulmate and best friend, Gregory T. Musick on May 13, 2005, in Lafayette.

LaDonna worked as a Server/Waitress most of her life. She served at Steak-N-Shake and Triple XXX. She also spent several years at Lafayette Venetian Blind.  Serving wasn’t only her career but her life. She felt the need to take care of everyone. She never met a stranger and took it upon herself to be everyone’s shoulder to cry on or ear to listen.

Along with her husband Greg, she is survived by 4 children, Christopher P. Smith, Sarah (Nathan) Winningham, Cassandra (Gabe) Polley, and Katelin Musick Redinbo; 11 grandchildren, Abigail Erwin (John) Warren, Samantha DeYoung, Gavin Winningham, Jaxen Winningham, Macie Winningham, Brandon Wendling, Makaylah Wendling, Emma Polley, Aaron Polley, Stella Polley, and Lauren Williams; 2 great-grandchildren, Lamont Frazier and Kolton Erwin; 5 siblings, Lisa Smith (Mike) Gillham, Richard (Dawn) Smith, Scott (Jennifer) Smith, Sheila Burkhardt, Sharon (Ralph) Henderson, and Sherry Killian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ralph J. Killian; stepbrother, Shannon Killian; 2 nephews, John Killian and Mikey Saylor; and her In-Laws, Joe and Rachel Musick.

LaDonna leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews that she considered her own and a life-long friend, Melinda “Mindy” (McKee) Robinson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of service at 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909 with Chaplain Dwight Herin officiating.
