Ladislao Ayon Gaeta, 76, of Lafayette, IN, peacefully left this world on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He was born on February 21, 1947 in Momax, Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Juan Ayon and Maria Auxilio Gaeta.
He married Herminia Alvarez December 1968 in Chicago, IL.
Ladislao loved spending time with family and friends. His hobby was taking care of cattle and horses.
Surviving are his children, Maribel Ayon-Garcia, Luis H. Ayon, Delia E. Ayon de Diaz, Laura C. Ayon de Lavoignet, Patricia Ayon de Huerta, Adriana Ayon de Green.
Son and Daughter In Laws: Enrique Garcia, Teresa Ayon, David Diaz, Omar Lavoignet, Victor Huerta, Brad Green.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in West Lafayette, Father Daniel Shine officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery Lafayette, IN.
