Kenneth Neil Neireiter, 72, of Lafayette died at 2:20 PM Sunday February 3, 2013 at Indiana University Health. He was born June 1, 1940, in Fort Wayne to the late Floyd and Marceil McCorkle Neireiter. Neil graduated from Central High School, Ft. Waye, IN and on May 25, 1963 married Maridee Smith in Ft. Wayne and she survives. Mr. Neireiter worked for Pate Trucking Company as a Dispatcher retiring in 2011. He enjoyed fishing,reading, watching TV and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving along with his wife are his children children Karla Fisher husband Bruce of Concord, NC, Kevin Neireiter wife Jenny of Seattle, WA, Keith Neireiter fiance' Elaine Wiener of Lafayette, grandchildren Jessilyn and Brett Fisher, Isabella and Penelope Neireiter and soon to be grandchildren Allison and DJ Wiener. Also surviving is a brother Jerry McCorkle and a sister Karen Steele of Ft. Wayne. Neil was preceded in death by brothers Keith Neireiter and Dean McCorkle. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ft. Wayne.
