Kandie E. Baluch, 65, of Lafayette, IN, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday April 23, 2012, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus. She was born January 4, 1947, in Star Junction, PA, to the late David and Genevieve Cunningham.
She graduated from Frazier High School in Perryopolis, PA, and attended one year of college. She was a member of the Tri Kappa Philanthropic Sorority.
On May 25,1968, in Perryopolis, PA, she married Stephen James Baluch and he survives. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.
Surviving are Husband, Steve Baluch, Lafayette, IN; a daughter, Jennifer Keldahl (husband Erik), Downers Grove, IL; a son, Stephen Baluch (wife Danielle), Williamsburg, IA; a sister, Mary Pesi (husband Gene), Star Junction, PA; and her grandchildren, Isis Baluch, Vaughn Keldahl and Genevieve Keldahl.
Memorial visitation will be at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday the 28th, Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel officiating Rev. Lore Gibson

I have a great mental picture of her with her hair net on and dipping Easter eggs for Tri Kappa. She always had a smile while we worked and something encouraging to say.
