Judy Kay Gipson, 82, of Dayton, passed away Friday April 24, 2026. She was born to the late Elmer and Leatha (Lintner) Gipson.
Judy attended Dayton Schools and she enjoyed doing ceramics and always walked around town until she was no longer able too. She was the babysitter for the children in the neighborhood.
Surviving is her brother Larry Dean (Cookie) Gipson of Stockwell; nieces, Paulette Payne, Teresa Hendren, Rebecca (Ted) Laythrop, Shawnda (Gordon) Lumley; nephew, Brandon Gipson; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Zelda DeYoung; her brother-in-law, Gorden DeYoung; and her beloved brother, Stanley Eugene Gipson.
Visitation is Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Soller-Baker Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Boulevard, Lafayette, Indiana 47909.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, at Tippecanoe Memory Garden in the Mausoleum at 10:45 a.m., with the Chaplain Shawn “Chris” King officiating.
