Joseph R. Kawlewski, 27, of Lafayette, IN, died at 7:37 AM Thursday, January 19, 2012, at IU Health Arnett ER .
He was born February 28, 1984, in Haines City, FL, to Andrew Kawlewski Jr. and Linda Clifton Nowell.
He was a 2002 graduate of McCutcheon High School. On April 16, 2005, he married Courtney A. Farner in Lafayette at the First Christian Church, and she survives.
Joe worked for Klooz Plumbing and Supply Inc. for the past 5 years.
Joe enjoyed the time with his two children and family. He liked to go fishing, hunting and race cars with his brother.
Surviving are his wife, Courtney A. Kawlewski, Lafayette; son, Joseph W. Kawlewski, at home; daughter, Lauren A. Kawlewski, at home; mother, Linda Nowell husband Gene, Lafayette; father, Andrew Kawlewski, Lafayette; grandmother, Dorothy Rust, West Lafayette; brother, Andrew Kawlewski wife Jennifer, West Lafayette; sisters, Amber Kawlewski, Lafayette, Angela Nowell, Lafayette and Jamie Nowell, Orlando, FL; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-8 Monday, January 23, 2012, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 2pm Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Pastor Jerry Miller officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Those wishing may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
