I logged into Facebook today to wish Joseph a happy birthday and saw the post about Wally, so, I googled Joseph's name and saw his obituary. I am terribly saddened by the passing of Joseph. He was one of the sweetest men I know. He was my hair stylist for years and even afterward I kept in touch with him when he left Lafayette and moved to DC. I hope you have found a home for Wally and I also hope you can celebrate the love you have for Joseph, as well as all the things he found worth fighting for. He was a kind, caring, and giving person!

Joseph was my first real friend in the Drama club. We were in two plays together and I will forever him in a very special way. He was the one person that helped me realize I was not alone and I wasn't a freak. I am sad that I was not ever to share how much he meant to me after not seeing him after he graduated. Joseph changed my life and a very special person. I will always have a special love for Joseph and he will forever have a special place in my heart. My condolences are with his family.
