John William Glover, 81, of Clarks Hill, passed away, Monday, June 13, 2022, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafyette.

He was born April 29, 1941, in Greenfield, IL to the late Charles and Anna (Posil) Glover and was a United States Army veteran. On June 30, 1964, he married Bonnie Web in Cottage Hills, IL and she survives. John worked as a farmer for many years. He enjoyed racing cars and hunting.

Along with his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by 5 children, Joy (Cliff) Hill of OR, Renae (Tommy) Drake of IL, Becky (Brandy) Brown of OR, John (Dawn) Glover of GA, and Angela (Ammon) Heinke of Clarks Hill; 14 grandchildren, Randy, Stephanie, Tiffany, Tyler B, Samantha, C.J., Ayllsa, Ashley, Kelli, Mathew, Sean, Tristan, Triniti and Tyler G.; 19 Great grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Randy Glover Sr.; 9 siblings, Erma, Juanita, Joe, Leatha, Sonja, Jimmy, Linda, Charles Jr., and Robert; and 3 grandchildren, Brandy, Tammy Jo, and Dylan.

I have so many great memories with daddy growing up. The find-a-word contest when I was little, working on stock cars in the garage and setting down with us to watch Little house on the prairie. Family was always daddy’s first choice. He taught us so many things growing up. We were very lucky to have him in our lives, it’s so hard to let go, but God needed him most. Thank you God for letting him be in our lives.
