On Sunday, August 1, 2021, John Wayne Paige, devoted husband and father of three sons, passed away at University Place.
He was born October 5, 1938, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Reuben and Anastasia (Mayne) Paige.
John graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, MI in 1956 and Michigan Technological University in 1960 with a degree in chemical engineering. He then began his career as a chemical engineer for Dow Corning.
On August 11, 1962, he married Louise Moffatt in Port Huron, MI. Over their 59 years of marriage, they lived in Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana.
He and his wife were members of, and supported many churches throughout their life.
John enjoyed being outdoors, skiing, cars and being with his grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife Louise, his three sons and their wives, Grant and Julie of Plain City, OH, Derek and Jenny of Santa Clarita, CA, and Ryan and Chrissy of Lafayette, IN, as well as his brother, William Paige of Venice, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Trevor Paige.
A private family service was held.
