John A. Farrell, 85, of West Point, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at IU Health Arnett. He was born January 18, 1939, to the late Michael and Marie (Shedrow) Farrell. He attended Lafayette Central Catholic High School and worked as a Meter Repairman for Lafayette Waterworks.  On August 23, 1984, he married Ruth White.Continue Reading

Just heard of John's passing he was married to my sister went to visit a lot and was always welcomed in there home.When my mom got sick her and my brother moved in with John and Ruth.He was so good to them he loved them and my fami!y loved John.You have a brand new body now RIP my friend.You can make anything that you want to make.You helped my brother make bird houses Ralph thought there was no one like John.When he had to move away after Ruth passed away he always talked about John he wanted to go back so bad.Thank you John for what you did for my family. I’m so sorry for the floss of John. He was always so kind, had a smile on his face even in his pain. I was proud to be his friend. I’ll never forget the lessons in our painting projects or all the times he listened and gave me advice on projects I was working on. He was always lending me a helping hand. God bless you John!
