Joetta Marie Catterlin, 65, of West Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 2, 2024, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born September 13, 1958, in Lafayette to the late Lonnie Joe and Alice Ann (Stinson) Catterlin. She was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and became a licensed hairdresser. Joetta was also a manager at Wonder Bread for over 30 years.
Joetta was a devout Christian and attended many churches throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her chihuahua, Gracie “Chopper.” She loved all animals, but especially dogs and cats. Joetta was a get up and go person, always active and never slowing down.
She is survived by her aunt, Brita Kingma; several cousins; and friend Vickie Glenn.
Along with her parents, Lonnie Joe and Alice Ann Catterlin, she was preceded in death by a sister, Melodie Morris; 2 aunts, Sharon K. Catterlin and Judy Catterlin; and an uncle, Davey Catterlin.
