Jessica “Purp” L. Haynes, 35, of Dayton, passed away, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in Lafayette.

She was born August 9, 1986, in Lafayette to Terry L. Haynes and Beverly D. McDaniel.  She was a graduate of Benton Central High School and Lafayette Beauty College. She worked as a beautician and was a member of Apostolic Faith Assembly.

She enjoyed doing crafts, decorating shirts, and anything glitter. She also enjoyed making hair bows and shopping.  She was an avid dart player and was a member of several dart leagues.

She is survived by her Mom and Step-Dad, Beverly (Charles) Rusk of Dayton; father, Terry L. Haynes of   Fowler; her daughter, Jaedyn Yates; Jaedyn’s dad, Dustin Yates of Lafayette; a brother, Cody Haynes; 3 step-sisters, Tracie Sparger, Tasha Harriett, and Tiffany Richard; and grandparents, Tom(Linda)McDaniel, Lorette Haynes.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Saige Breanne Young and grandfather David Haynes.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm, Friday , June 24, 2022, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, with Pastor Timothy Rodriguez officiating.
