Jeremy J. Lahay, 26, formerly of Lafayette died at 5:30 PM Friday, November 18, 2016, in his residence in Bradley, IL. He was born in Evansville on March 31, 1990 to Donald Lahay (currently of Evansville) and Lisa Mynatt (currently of Lafayette.) Jeremy attended Jefferson High School in Lafayette, where he was part of the wrestling team. He was an avid fan of Chicago pro sports, including the Bears, the Bulls, and the White Sox. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Cambria Marie Lahay of Lafayette. Jeremy also enjoyed fishing and video games. Surviving along with his parents and his daughter are brothers, Donnie Lahay-Windsor of Huber Heights, OH, Jordan Lahay of Lafayette, and a sister Angel Mynatt of Lafayette, a step brother, Jacob Mynatt of Cornell, IL, a nephew, Xavier Lahay. Jeremy’s fiancé, Kaitlyn Berry is living in Bradley, IL, his maternal grandparents are Paul and Patricia Flahaut of Peru, IL, Uncles, Paul Flahaut (wife Missy) of Lafayette, Mike Lahay of St. Louis, Tim Lahay of Tx, Dan Lahay of Newburgh, Tom Lahay (wife Ann) of Sullivan, and his Aunts Tricia Scanlon (husband Scott) of Joliet, IL, Michelle Carlisle (husband Rick) of Hobart and Donna Long (husband Don) of Newburgh and many first and second cousins and extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2016, all at the Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909.
