Jeffrey D. Criswell, 59, of Battle Ground, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at his home. He was born September 3, 1963, in Valparaiso, IN, to the late Ronald and Chantel Criswell.

Jeff graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1982. On May 1, 2014, he married Brandi Funston in Lafayette, and she survives.

Jeff worked at Tate and Lyle for 34 years and retired in October 2021. He enjoyed golfing, corn hole, sailing, biking and spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Breanne V. Criswell of North Port, FL, Alyshia K. (Willie Wilson) Criswell of North Port, FL, Nathan A. (Melanie) Criswell of Lafayette, Morgan B. Funston of Battle Ground, grandchildren Angelica, Jaylen, Darian, Rayna, Madison, Eleanor and Calvin. Also surviving is his brother Mike R. (Cori) Criswell of Coeur d’ Alene, ID.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. A livestream of the service will be available on Jeff’s obituary page at www.soller-baker.com.

Jeff was a great son-in-law. He always made time for us. He will be missed.
