Jeanne F. Bell, age 88, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers.  She was born in Chicago on December 20, 1934.

She married Jack A. Bell on August 10, 1957, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Jeanne graduated from Illinois State University and was a teacher before becoming a stay-at-home mom.  She was an avid reader and she really enjoyed belonging to the Red Hats Society and the Mall Walkers group.  She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a member of their Martha’s Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Jeanne is survived by her three daughters:  Jan Trennepohl (Tom), Judy Bell, and Jeanine Lindsey (Jason); two granddaughters:  Carissa Trennepohl and Shaina Trennepohl (Tyler Skipper); and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Grand Brook for their exceptional care of our mom during the two years she lived there.  Paradigm Hospice and the providers at Grace at Home Primary Care also took great care of mom while living in Fishers.

We also thank Dr. Jeremy Adler and his staff, as well as Homecare by Design for excellent care when mom lived in Lafayette.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Dementia Society of America, or Christ United Methodist Church.

Please celebrate our mom’s life by eating out at your favorite restaurant.  She really loved eating out, especially at Red Lobster, Christos New City Grill, and Cracker Barrel.
