Jason R. Laffoon, 42, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at his home. He was born May 14, 1980, in Lafayette, Indiana. Jason graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1999.

On May 1, 2004, he married Amber Endicott in Lafayette and she survives. Jason worked at Caterpillar in Lafayette for 21 years. Jason enjoyed hunting, hanging out with friends and family, telling stories, going to his children’s sporting events, playing corn hole and drinking beer. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anybody.

Surviving along with his wife are his children, Brayden D. Laffoon, Audrey M. Laffoon both of Lafayette, his parents Jean A (John Ward) Haywood of Lafayette, John W. “Jack” Laffoon of Decatur, IL, siblings John S. (Brandi) Laffoon, Julie A. (Derrick) White, Jim L. (Robin) Laffoon all of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Romney, Indiana.
