Jarrod A. McHenry, 32, of Flora, went home to be with his family in heaven on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Born February 16, 1986, in Lafayette, he was the son of Donnagene Veach (Kurtis) of Clarks Hill and the late Jeffrey G. McHenry. 

Jarrod graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2004.  He was employed for 5 years at NHK Seating of America and was just recently promoted to Materials Handler.

He was proud to be a new daddy to his “baby girl” and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending concerts, along with spending time with his mom.  He had a genuine smile and was a pleasure to all he met.  If you were having a bad day, he would always try to turn it around.

Surviving with his mom and stepdad is his daughter, Brynn McHenry, his brother, Andrew Veach, his best dog pal, Ares, paternal grandparents, Gary McHenry (Tanny) and Nancy Keiser (Tom), along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his dad, brother, Benjamin, maternal grandparents, Judy “Mimi” Stotler and Donald Cozad, his Aunt Jessica and Uncle Greg.
