Janice “Butch” M. Snoeberger, 79, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born March 31, 1941, in Lafayette to the late Leo and Aline (Fischer) Farrell.
On August 18, 1961, she married Wayne Snoeberger in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2003.
Janice worked as a sales representative for BeeLine Fashions and later as secretary and book keeper.
Janice was a basket weaver and also taught basket weaving. She judged crafts at the 4-H Fair and enjoyed playing scrabble and word puzzles.
Surviving are her children Robert W. Snoeberger of West Point, Joellen M. Snoeberger of Lafayette, Gene W. (Tanya) Snoeberger of Williamsport, grandchildren Ryan McDonald, Eli Snoeberger, Dustin Snoeberger, Kelsey Snoeberger, Chelsea Cole, Peyton Snoeberger, Dalton Snoeberger and 8 great grandchildren.
Also surviving is her sister Carol Moelhman of Lafayette. Janice was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. A private family service will be held. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lafayette Civic Theater, Community Cancer Network or Purdue Sports More than a Game Campaign supporting Men’s Golf.
