I've known Janice since she was born and watched her grow into a beautiful woman. She has always cared deeply for people since she was a small child. I know her siblings will have many precious memories to carry with them through these difficult times. Although I cannot be with you, know that my deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Bill and Susie and their families. Martha Rohr

I was so saddened to get the news about Janice. The McMurtrie family was so special to me as a teacher at Crouch and then at Glen Acres. It was my privilege to have Bill and Janice in my 4th grade at Crouch, and for their mother to be a room mother. Even at that early age, Janice was always concerned about others. Then it was my pleasure to have Bill's son Josh in my 4th grade at Glen Acres. This brought Janice back into my life, as Janice was involved in Josh's life. Janice had such a wonderful spirit and brought joy wherever she was. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend on Saturday, as a monthly widows group is coming to my house for lunch and a meeting that day. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I knew you and Johnny since 6th grade and worked with you at the DFR for several years. Small world and yet your big heart filled it everyday. You will be greatly missed and I know there will be not another person with such a heart of gold. You were one of a kind.

I will miss our random 3am text to see if we are up, and both of us being up! I will miss our cheeseburger and coke dates! But most of all, I will miss your big heart, your laugh, your smile and your kindness to everyone you came in contact with. Love you forever my friend.
