Jane L. Martin, 68, of Lafayette died Friday, October 18, 2013, at Indiana University Health Arnett in Lafayette. She was born August 7, 1945, in Attica to the late John and Nellie Stetler Vester. Jane graduated from Attica High School and on April 1, 1967 she married Richard Martin in Attica and he survives. Jane enjoyed crocheting, woodcrafts, painting, gardening and antiquing. She always put the needs of others that above the needs of herself. Surviving along with her husband are her children Gary M. Martin of New Richmond; Michelle M. Cronk with husband Joseph of Kokomo; a sister, Muriel Best with husband James of Independence; and four nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to a 10:00 AM memorial service on Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Rev. David Inskeep officiating.
