On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, James E. Fisher, passed away at the age of 52 surrounded by his three children and fiancé. Jim was born in Lafayette, Indiana on Oct 13, 1970, to Lynn and Brenda Fisher and grew up in Buck Creek where he attended and graduated from Harrison High School.
Jim married Crissy Fisher in 1995. After 24 years, and the birth of three children, they later divorced. He was cherished by his family (Joe Fisher (20) of Indianapolis, Abigail Fisher (23) of Indianapolis and Connor Fisher (25) of Austin Texas). Surviving is his father Lynn Fisher (Becky) of Lafayette and his brother Matt Fisher (Cherie) of Hernando, MS.
Jim was a lifelong sports loving individual who was a varsity athlete at Harrison and was third team all-state in baseball where he set his high school’s record for the most complete games as a pitcher. After graduating Harrison, Jim went on to study accounting at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and then received his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. Jim continued his love of sports as a father that loved to coach his kids’ athletic teams. During his adult years he became an avid wake boarder, waker surfer and just about anything with a board.
Jim was a lifelong Health Care consultant where he spent many years at PWC and then moved to Accenture where he made partner by the age of 40.
Jim’s final gift to this world is he was an organ donor and help over 100 other people that were in need.

Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2023, at St. Mary Cathedral, 1207 Columbia St, Lafayette, IN 47901 with Father Anthony Rowland officiating. PRIVATE FAMILY ONLY Inurnment to follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
