James A. Griffis, 66, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his residence suronded by his love ones.

He was born April 12, 1957, in Lafayette, Norma Jean (Lighty) Griffis of Lafayette and the late Glen Griffis.

James graduated from Seeger High School.

He worked in construction and enjoyed furniture restoration.

Surviving with his mother, Norma Jean Griffis, is his partner since 2009, Judy Foresman both of Lafayette.

James was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Howard.

There will be no services at this time.
