Jacqueline M. Gushwa, 91, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at St. Mary Health Care. She was born February 23, 1932, in Lafayette, to the late George David and Esther Frances Elser Burkle.

Jacqueline graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1950. Jacqueline worked at Duncan Electric and Target. She was a member of St Lawrence Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #347. She enjoyed the time she had with her family and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Wallace, of Tarpon Springs, FL, sons, Dale (Daleen) Rose, Garry M. Rose both of Lafayette, Dallas (Kay) Rose of Brooksville, FL. Grandchildren-  Christopher Wallace, Courtney (Justin) Stump, Blake (Graham) Onak, Brendan (Elsa) Rose, Brad (Jennifer) Libbey, David (Rachel) Rose, Grant (Allison) Rose, Libby (Scott) Rohr, Grace Rose, Estevan Mantica, Alex (Hannah) Mantica; and her great -grandchildren, Parker, Addyson, Rylan, Cayden, Layla, Carter, Calen, Colton, Eva, Stephen, Luna, Maverick, Lincoln, Sean, Timmy, and Belle.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Doris Eberhart, and 3 brothers- William, George and Robert Burkle.

Visitation will be Friday November 3, 2023, from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette chapel followed by the funeral at 2:00pm. Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery, Lafayette, IN.
