Helen Elizabeth (Anderson) Mounce, 80, of Lafayette, passed away on May 8th, 2025, at home. She was born September 28, 1944, in Lafayette to the late Walter W. and Mary Jo (Murphy) Anderson.
Helen graduated from Central Catholic High School and Rudae’s Beauty School in Lafayette. She married George Mounce in 1966, and he survives. Helen worked as a hair stylist and was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are two children, Paige (Tim) Heath of Boerne, Texas, and Alison (Tony) Donoho, of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Dillon Mills, Joe Heath, Alex Heath, Mackenzie (Hayden Blankenship) Mills, Sydney (Kyle) Gick, Hannah Tate Donoho, and Isabella Donoho, as well as five great grandchildren, Mason Mills, Chloe Boles, Leo Mills, Leighton Ray Gick, and Lawson Gick. Also surviving are six siblings, Barbara Farrell, Sandra Ridgway, Jacqueline Anderson, Thomas Anderson, James (Debora) Anderson, and Laura (Ike) Fetterling. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jayne Anderson, Janice Anderson, and Janet (Gerry) Mohlman.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the Mass at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 14th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Fr. Ted Dudzinski officiating. A private family interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
