Hayden A. Haller, 58, of Lafayette, died at 1:28 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Clarian Arnett Hospital.
She was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Oklahoma City, to William Abney Sr. (wife: Patricia) of Oklahoma City and the late Jean Abney. She received her BAS from the University of Oklahoma in 1975 and her MS in Clinical Psychology from Missouri State University in 2000.
She was a mental health therapist at The Counseling Center in Lafayette and at the Indianapolis Counseling Center. A member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and board member of the Indiana Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, she was committed to the rehabilitation of sexual offenders.
She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Surviving with her father are a son, Aryn Priest of Lafayette; a brother, William C. Abney Jr. of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Liz Heitzman (husband: Jeff) of Hot Springs, Ark.
Also surviving is a grandson, Noah Skye Priest.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Services will be in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society or Central Presbyterian Church.
