Harry J. Bresnahan, 94, of Lafayette died Sunday April 21, 2013 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community. He was born September 20, 1918, in Lafayette to the late William and Cecilia Flannagan Bresnahan. Harry served in the United States Navy from October 10, 1943 to December 17, 1945. On October 12, 1940 he married Ella Rawlings in Lafayette and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2010. Harry worked as a Foreman of Heat and Ventilation at Purdue Unversity for 27 years and retired in 1975. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Surviving is his son William Bresnahan wife Sandra of Gainesville, GA, grandsons Brian and Bradley Bresnahan and a great grand daughter Ashlyn Bresnahan. Also surviving is a brother Robert Bresnahan of Port Charlotte, Fl. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 AM Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Fr. Dominic Young officiating. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
