Harriette A. Ardapple

Harriette A. “Betty” Ardapple, 89, of Lafayette, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at Bickford Cottage in Lafayette.
She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Lafayette, to the late Raymond and Gladys Dickey Williams. She graduated from St. Francis High School and attended Stevens and Purdue universities.
On July 10, 1943, she married Warren W. Ardapple in Lafayette. He died Aug. 31, 2009.
Mrs. Ardapple was a member of St. Mary Cathedral.
Surviving are a son, David Ardapple, and two daughters, Gretchen Reiling (husband: Bob) and Jessica B. Ardapple, all of Lafayette.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Anne Kilby of Tampa, FL, Amy Sani of Trento, Italy, Andrew Ardapple of Lafayette and Alexandria Ardapple of Stoughton, WI and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Andrew Ardapple, and a sister.
There will be private family services. Soller-Baker Funeral Home assisted the family.

I extend my sincere sympathy. I also encourage you to remember your mother&s beauty and the good times as I do with your mom -- she always fed me blender whipped oj and took me to the XXX in West Lafayette. She let me stay up late when I had a sleep over. She was an elegant lady. I know she loved her grandgirls too.
