Gwen E. Clements, 19, of West Lafayette passed away unexpectedly August 17, 2022, at her home from complication of Diabetes.

She was born May 21, 2003, in Lafayette to Breale L. (Moore) Clements. She was a 2021, graduate of West Lafayette High School in top 20% of her class.

Gwen enjoyed listening to music and watching her favorite TV show “The Office”. She enjoyed spending times with her friends, enjoying meals, and had a love of chocolate. She attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Overall, the most important part of her life was her daughter Naia. Gwen cherished every moment spent with Naia.

Along with her daughter, Naia Clements and her mother Breale Clements; she is survived by her brothers, Carter Clements and Kenyin Williams; grandparents, Beverly” Nana” (Bill) Russell and David “Papa” (Carolyn) Moore; and 2 uncles, Brandon Moore and David Moore Jr.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with Naia’s care and schooling.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm (noon) until time of service at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, with Pastor Terry Chase officiating.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the broken-hearted He rescues those who's spirits are crushed. Prayers for family my sons knew her they went to school together I worked as a lunch lady at west side school and remember her she was a sweet girl.
