Gerald Eugene Crum of West Point, IN passed away on Friday September 29^th, 2023, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette, IN.  Gerald was born on December 14^th, 1947, to the late Hubert and Marjorie (Barker) Crum.  He was a graduate of Southwestern High School and attended Ball State University.  After Ball State Gerald served in the US Army and was a Vietnam veteran.  After Vietnam he worked for Crum Construction for several years and worked as a self-employed contractor.  He enjoyed painting and was an avid stain glass creator.  On January 27^th, 1991, Gerald married Suzanne Reppert of West Point, IN.  Gerald was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his Ocean Resorts golf buddies while in Florida for the winter.  Gerald enjoyed attending McCutcheon sporting events and enjoyed meeting his friends daily at the Tic Tock restaurant.  Gerald leaves behind his wife, Suzanne, of 32 years along with his three sons, Mark Crum (Melody) of Memphis, TN, Jason Reppert (Jabnel) of Carmel, IN, Rob Reppert (Lisa) of Romney, IN.  He leaves behind 7 grandkids, Kayla Layer (Zach), Hunter Baldwin, Zach Reppert, Emme Reppert, Briana Baldwin, Zane Crum, and Miles Crum.  He is survived by his sister Jean Ann Gray, and brother Mike Crum (Susan).  He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Marjorie Crum, his older brother Robert W. Crum and a brother-n-law, Dan Gray.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 6, 2023 also at Soller-Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lafayette.
