George Arthur Miller, 101, of Lafayette, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community in Mulberry, IN.

He was born January 27, 1922, in London, England, to the late Arthur C. Miller and Jessie Andrews.

George was educated in London, England.

On July 21, 1945, he married Anna Schlesinger in London, England and she preceded him in death.

George was a previous resident of Hudson, OH for 60 years after emigrating from the U.K. in 1954.

He had worked at Ford Motor Company in London, England and Walton Hills, OH for thirty years before retiring.

He enjoyed playing golf.

Surviving are two children, Marylyn Nye of Lafayette, IN, and Colin (Patricia) Miller of Spokane, WA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Somar (Kurt) Hieber, Nathan (Bobbie) Miller, and Nicola (Nate) Mannetter as well as two great grandchildren, Logan Hieber and Quinn Miller.

George was preceded in death by three sisters Vi Scrivner, Sylvia Wilcox and Joan Maynard, a brother, Len Miller and a son-in -law, Ernest Nye Jr.
