Fay Robert “Bob” Rosenbrook, 88 Fay Robert Rosenbrook, 88, of Lafayette, IN, died at 9:00 AM Monday, February 25, 2013 at IU ARNETT HOSPITAL. He was born February 15, 1925, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Fay Allen and Scyntha E. Marshall Rosenbrook. He served in the United States Marine Corps from November 16, 1942 to February 17, 1946; as a medic in WWII. He received the Purple Heart and the Silver Star for his heroic actions at Iwo Jima. He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. He married Jean Jones in Lafayette on June 22, 1974, and she passed away on February 15, 2011. Bob especially enjoyed fishing, watching golf, bowling, Family Feud, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Storage Wars. He loved growing plants and tending his garden, he was known for his green thumb'. He loved feeding and watching hummingbirds, and loved his cat, Benton. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery, Romney, Indiana. Preceded in death by Fay Robert Rosenbrook Jr.- Son.
