My patient before I retired, he was a good man. Always friendly and well liked by the staff. May he rest in peace

Cliff was truly one of the good guys in this crazy world we all live in. I feel fortunate and blessed to have known him. The 30 years that we were together, he always treated me like one of his sons. I will always appreciate that. I also have a great appreciation for the strong work ethic he passed down to all his kids. Cliff was a great Dad. I have so many memories of Cliff. One example of his sense of humor: I had run into a slight problem stealing a street sign one Saturday night while studying at Purdue. I came over to the house on Sunday to pick up Deb for breakfast. There was a hand written sign in the front window - “NO CONVICTS ALLOWED”

We have been neighbors for 48 years. I can still smell his pipe. I can still hear him yell at Mary “ Mary what are you doing?” “Mary where are you going?” I see him walking and stopping to talk to everyone. He loved to socialize. Cliff never meant a a stranger. I just LOVE that man.
