Eric Richard Kempf, 55, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at his residence.

He was born June 10, 1970, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Tonie Miller.

His mariage was to Michelle Howard and she survives.

Eric worked as a truck driver.

Eric enjoyed racing go karts, riding motorcycles, fishing and playing Bingo .

Surviving are his wife, Michelle Kempf of Lafayette, son, Eric Kempf, Jr. of Muncie, daughter, Megan M. (Matthew) Mellady of Lafayette, daughter, Amber E. (Brandon) Jacobs of Lafayette, son, William D. Kempf of Muncie and son, Zackery A. (Jordan) Gonzales of Fowler. Also surviving is his sister, Juanita (James) Huddelston of Camden and a nephew, Craig (Kelsey) Lawson as well as eight grandchildren, Maddox, Maya, Maggie and Marli Mellady, Alivia and Hudson Jacobs, and Thea and Phoebe Gonzales.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Tonie Miller.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909.
