Elizabeth D. Polstra, 96, of Lafayette, IN, died at 4:15 AM Sunday January 22, 2012 at Rosewalk Commons.
She was born May 5, 1915, in Lafayette, IN, the late Jacob and Jennie Hockema Vandergraff.
Mrs Polstra worked at Pudue University in housekeepimg for ten years. On 2-23-1938 in Lafayette she married John E. Polstra and he died in August of 1994.
Surviving are daughter-Janet K. McCloud, Lafayette, IN; sons- Jack Polstra- Kalamazoo,MI and Larry Polstra wife Barbara- Tucker,Ga, and 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday 1-2pm January 25, 2012 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service 2pm Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Preceded in death by brother- Wilbur Vandergraff, sisters- Alta Keiser and Irene Vandergraff, and grandson- Steve McCloud.
